• You may be asked to complete bogus recruitment documents such as application forms, terms and conditions of employment, or visa forms, that may feature our organization name and logo (used without authorization).

• Early in the discussion, the perpetrator/s may request your personal information such as address details, date of birth, CV, passport details, bank details etc.

• You may be asked to contact other companies/individuals such as lawyers, bank officials, travel agencies, courier companies, and visa/immigration processing agencies.

• E-mails will appear to be sent from an officer or a senior executive of the company, often in Legal or Human Resources teams. Fake e-mails do not end with @bajajelectricals.com. They may also have addresses that are similar or deceptively similar, for example, @bajaelectric.in. or @bajajelectric.com.

• You may be asked for a fee to facilitate the job offer. Or cost of training, onboarding, they may confirm that 50% amount will be refunded after your joining.

• The perpetrators will insist on a quick turnaround and infuse a lot of urgency in the communication.

• E-mail headers contain a detailed record of the specific route that an e-mail takes on the internet and will help us identify the perpetrators' location(s) and so, do not simply forward the e-mail as this will remove the header information. To keep the header information, insert the reported fraudulent e-mail into a new e-mail (In Outlook, click Insert > Outlook Item > Selecting the fraudulent e-mail.)

• Do retain the original subject line of the e-mail.

• Do share the complete, unedited content of the e-mail. PLEASE DO NOT change or edit in any way.

DO NOT

• Do not delete the e-mails, as they may be required for investigation later.

• Do not engage in communication with the original sender.

• Do not forward such e-mails to any other mailbox except to : legal@bajajelectricals.com with the details mentioned above. Any communications from Bajaj Electricals Ltd will only come from official company email addresses (@bajajelectricals.com).

• Do not share any personal information and refrain from sharing personal documents before clarifying with relevant authorities.

Job Purpose:

Execute projects for improved reliability requirements for products, components, subsystem, and assemblies, evaluate product designs and ensure optimal performance while working on opportunities to generate intellectual property for organization.

Key responsibilities:

Follow DFR approach

Take up various reliability projects and develop novel approaches for the preventive diagnosis of products

Work with design teams to develop predictive and proactive design strategies that improve product / component reliability.

Discuss with engineers and provide them important insights to define engineering specifications and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements

Advise and confer with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations
Reliability testing and providing scientific predictions for warranty claims
Carryout Reliability Test Planning, testing to discover potential safety and production risks.

Deploy Reliability Design Techniques to assess Reliability of Products Design at various life cycle stages

Analyze the product failure Data.

Perform data analysis to predict failures and prevent them before they cause downtime/assist in taking informed Warranty Decision

Lab and EHS

Responsible for upkeep of lab equipment and ensure EHS compliance

Tech Expertise: Expertise of using Reliability Prediction tools to predict failure rate –before physical prototype is developed

Conversant with the tools & techniques of Reliability Planning, Testing (ALT/HALT/HASS) & Modelling

Thorough awareness in leveraging Reliability Design techniques (viz. Stress/Strength Analysis, DfX, Dfr) to assess Reliability of a product design at various life cycle stages.

Process Expertise: Adept at Risk Management/ Risk Analysis (DFMEA/UFMEA/FMECA/FTA), Risk Mitigation.

Ability and expertise at deploying statistical tools for problem solving /process improvement

Possess advanced knowledge of 7QC Tools

Understanding of the manufacturing process of relevant products is a plus
