Architectural sub systems design

  • Assist in design concepts and review 3D CAD model for concepts
  • Assist in developing theoretical calculations for subsystems and components.
  • Assist in design changes basis simulation outcome
  • Document various observations in the reviews and keep records

Benchmark product study

  • Use knowledge of measurement techniques and instruments used for supporting teams in Benchmarking exercise. Record specifications and assist in preparing benchmark reports

Engineering design

  • Create BOM (Bill of Materials), draft 2D drawings with CTQ mark, balloon diagrams, and conduct part inspection.
  • Execute reverse engineering projects and engage with external agencies to ensure timely completion.
  • Generate design concepts and assist in IP generation

Prototyping

  • Support in Developing rapid prototypes and communicate designs in CAD

Documentation and control

  • Participate in NPD (New Product Development) process from concept to part realization.
  • Maintain document control and design change management during NPD process
  • Support senior engineers in should costing

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

0-5 years of experience in Consumer Durable, Consumer Electronics, Industrial Products, Automotive industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Having foundational understanding of Creo and able to create basic 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
  • Able to analyze product functions, requirements, and interactions to ensure they meet design objectives.
  • Has knowledge of measurement techniques and instruments for benchmarking, reverse engineering projects
  • Knows how to read GDT symbols, tolerances and how to analyze dimensional stack-ups
  • Ability to effectively use different statistical tools, preferably excel for engineering calculations, data analysis and representation.
  • Sound understanding of essential engineering principles related to structural, mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
  • Understanding of estimating manufacturing costs based on design, materials, and processes.

Process Skills:

  • Understanding IP process
  • Ability to think out of the box and create innovative concepts
