Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Interaction with the Industrial Design dept & Product design Dept. in relation with part DFM & Tool DFM, modification activities
• Able to do Part Feasibility & Mould Flow Analysis, Polymer selection, Moulding Machine selection
• Hands-on experience on CREO, UG and Auto cad
• Making RFQ, Tool Target Cost Estimation and DFM of Parts and tools
• Vendor trial and coordination
• Rectification and modification management
• Tooling PPAP documentation submission & handed over to CFT team
• OEM and ODM Tool design DFM support
• Assisting vendors in trial and production processes and providing them suggestions for improving process efficiency and quality improvement
• Coordinate with customer for sample submission, modification and approvals.
• On field Inspection & dispatch inspection of the tools
• Prepare comprehensive project plan and monitoring of Part / Tools Manufacturing at vendor
• Instigate, Quotation, Cost Estimation, Should Costing & negotiation and/or manage the development of supplier development/contracts as required.
• Drive collaboration and integration of tooling team Collaborate with ID / ED function and incorporating manufacturing feasibility into product at early stage of design.

Requirement

We are looking for a highly skilled mold and dies development engineer who will ensure on time development of tools and dies. The incumbent shall ensure that the components and molds/dies meet highest standards of quality with respect to specifications and ensure trouble free handover to the manufacturing. Incumbent shall be responsible to ensure that the concerns of stakeholders are managed in time till commercial production is streamlined. He/She should be a team player demonstrating highest standards of ethics.

Essential Qualification: Diploma, PG-Diploma in Mold  and Die Designs from CIPET ,NTTF OR TRTC  + B Tech

Desired Qualification:  

Experience: Minimum 7 years 

Industry Preference:  Consumer durable (Mixer grinders ,Coolers ,Water heaters ,Fans ) &  Consumer electronics
