Job purpose & Scope

Purpose:

Plan, procure, Co-ordinate and monitor all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Good knowledge of consumer product viz small appliances, lighting, fan

Scope:

Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximise the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organisation’s supply chain.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and procurement of goods  for Export BU.
• Ability to Liase effectively with internal customers to understand their needs and give solution for same.
• Ability to interact and have effective communication with Vendors on requirement and Quality standards
• Build Capability in vendors for manufacture of export products to meet International standard and delivery timelines.
• Co -ordinate with Sales, ABSQ, Product  and QC for smooth operation.

Person Specifications

Essential Qualification: B.E. / B. TECH  (Electrical/Mechanical)

Desired Qualification:   Degree.

Experience: 10year

Industry Preference: from Consumer durable industry
