JOB PURPOSE

To establish process engineering processes to ensure continuous improvement in process, quality and production to enhance vendor capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing process flow diagrams as a basis of design for developing the functional design specification outlining the operation of the process   and guiding the process through operation of machinery, safety in design, programming.
  • Identifying & evaluating process enhancement opportunities across Bajaj vendors and work towards continuous improvement of their manufacturing processes on quality, cost, efficiency, safety.
  • Developing process engineering initiatives to manage project implementation.
  • Analyzing workflows of existing vendors and examine scope for process improvement in terms of quality and cost.
  • Taking up projects with the objective of vendor upgradation / vendor capability enhancement.
  • Developing new process equipment, equipment qualification & installation.
  • Working on designing tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, special gauges, material handling equipment's, etc.as per the need.
  • Imparting technical training to operatives and staff at vendor's end

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma/ B.E/ BTech (Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.)

WORK EXPERIENCE

4 - 5 Years of experience in Process Engineering, in any Industry-Exposure to automobile industry preferable.
