Job Description:

This position will be responsible for design, implementation and support of cloud infrastructure. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and technical reference for all cloud infrastructure supporting business units.

The individual should have hands- on experience building IT infrastructure on cloud from the ground up to support critical business applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the provisioning,

Installation / configuration, operation, infrastructure design, deployment, integration, system migration, project management, support and maintenance of virtual machines Backup & Restore, Patch Management, cloud instances, IT systems hardware and software and other related infrastructure in cloud environments.


Provision, administer and optimize cloud workloads. Building and supporting a highly available and multisite environments. Perform hands on administration systems engineering of the IT infrastructure to assure that systems meet or exceed business needs and expectations.

Provide Cloud Infrastructure subject matter expertise; lead complex System Administration tasks and IT Infrastructure projects to successful completion.

Gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, maintaining and building platforms on cloud. Develop logical and physical infrastructure designs of infrastructure proposed solutions based on business requirements. Perform / oversee daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all IT Infrastructure, systems and key IT processes.

Perform ongoing performance tuning, system upgrades, regular patching, security remediation and resource optimization as required. Provide Systems Engineering support of production and non- production environments.

Experience with platform-as-a-service technologies (Such as: Hana Cloud Platform, Red Hat Linux, Container Platform, or Neno Servers, Jump Server, Cloud Securities).


Responsible for the management and monitoring of all cloud infrastructure (standalone, hyperconverged and virtualized environments).


Incident management experience is a Plus.

Manage end to end provisioning, configuration, deployment and testing of cloud infrastructure environments, which include deployment of operating systems, updating and IP Networking, SOP and Templates.


Key Responsibility/Sales Skills:

Experience in solution for products like AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform.

  • Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on
  • Technical assistance on windows, cloud-based systems, and resolve operational problems
  • Responsible for Incident, Problem, Change Management & Service Request.
  • Responsible in assisting in the administration of cloud service and a Windows & Linux servers environment.
  • Selecting the appropriate cloud component service based on compute, data, or security requirements.
  • Identifying appropriate use of cloud operational best practices.
  • Estimating usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms.
  • Monitoring cloud infra by using tools scripts.
  • Generating reports of infra capacity.
  • Interaction with OEM for Highly Critical technical support
  • Responsible for Reports & Technical documentation.
  • Should be capable to guide the team/individual on requirement basis.
  • Communicate effectively with Customers
  • Responsible for MIS Reports/ Technical documents
  • Customer/Vendor Co ordination
  • Adhere to ITSM based Ticket Management with SLA Compliance
  • Experience in Technology Transformation, Digital Transformation and Cloud Strategy
  • Understand customer needs and induce the same in cloud requirements
  • Should have experience working as Cloud Partner, Solution Provide, Engineering Team, Developer Team

  1. Experience in server administration on Linux and/or Windows.
    1. Understanding of OS boot process
    2. Experience on Kernel updates and troubleshooting
    3. Network and routing configuration at OS level.
    4. OS hardening
    5. Filesystem and User administration
    6. Object (Files and directories) level and user-level permission configurations.
    7. Experience on Shell experience is mandatory.
    8. Experience on Python script is preferred.
    9. Troubleshooting of OS level issues.
    10. Setting up of remote/centralized Syslog service and configuration of log rotation
  2. Experience on middleware
  1. Understanding of architecture and flow of web applications.
  2. Experience of working on web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
  1. Understanding of database servers
    1. Basic understanding of RDMBS and SQL queries.
    2. Experience on installation and configuration of any of database server from MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
  2. Understanding of General IT concepts.
    1. Logging and log management.
    2. Backup options and policies.
    3. Networking concepts, i.e. IP addressing, subnetting, network topologies in LAN and WAN. VPN concepts and configurations.
    4. Documentation and SOP preparations.
    5. Clustering and High availability of resources.
  3. Experience with virtualization, provisioning and configuration management tools and technologies such as Terraform / Ansible, Cloud Formation.
  4. Understanding of landing zone experience in planning migration from On-Premise to Cloud.
  5. Strong knowledge on Cloud Security, Monitoring, VPC, Security Groups & orchestration in the public cloud.
  6. Researching, developing, and implementing new tools and processes to improve and automate Operational Support.
  7. Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to other entry and intermediate team members.
  8. AWS / Azure Working Experience
    a.         Experience of working on AWS services: VPC, VPN, EC2, RDS, EastiCache, CloudFront, Load balancers, Autoscaling, Backup, Lambda
    b.         Experience of Working on Azure Services: Virtual Machine, Blob Storage (Block , Cool , Archive ) , ASR, StorSimple, RediCache, SQL Datawarehouse, Load Balance Application Gateway, CDN, Azure DNS, Express Route, Virtual Network, Log Analytics etc.
